Family Support Worker Supervisor

This position serves as supervisor of Family Support Workers for CFC in Palm Beach County. Incumbent manages the planning, coordination and reporting for staff supporting Dependency Case Managers in the provision of services to families. Incumbent may also provide transportation assistance as necessary.

STARING SALARY: $35,000.00

Minimum Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of four years of working with children and families

  • Minimum of two years experience in supervisory/leadership capacity

  • Prior data entry experience

  • Must have appropriate and valid state driver’s license. Must meet state criminal background check requirement

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in a social service organization

  • Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN) experience

  • Previous experience with direct supervisory management preferred

Chief Program Officer

This position serves as a managing officer for Child and Family Connections. The Chief Program Officer is responsible for the administration and oversight of CFC's in-house case management program. Manages and evaluates the delivery of case management program services in accordance with CFC policies, procedures, goals and business plans. Directs the planning, development, and administration of case management services to children, birth families, foster families, and primary caregiver(s). The CPO will be responsible for adapting services to changes in policy as well as changes in client needs. Included in this role is the management of performance data, participation in continuous quality improvement activities and the development of strategies aimed at improving child outcomes as well as program budget management. Position will also ensure program operates within CFC policies and state and local contractual and licensing requirements. The CPO is a member of the executive management team and reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

STARTING SALARY: $64,871.00

Minimum Qualifications:

Required:

  • Masters Degree from an accredited college or university and 5 years experience in child welfare services.

  • A minimum of five years of management experience.

  • Extensive knowledge of foster care, adoptions, family permanency and mental health services.

  • Experience in Florida’s Child Welfare System. Demonstrated knowledge of Florida Statutes, Administrative Code and DCF Policy pertaining to Child Welfare.

Preferred:

  • A clear understanding of the requirements of the Federal Adoption and Safe Families Act requirements.

  • Experience in developing and implementing Child Welfare Systems of Care.

  • Certification as a Child Welfare Professional.

Job Description: 

Dependency Case Manager

Position provides direct case management services to children, birth families, foster families and primary caregiver(s) in the home setting, day care, preschool, and/or school to ensure they receive services appropriate to their needs, and continuity of care focused on resolving or preventing the issues of child abuse or neglect. The Case Manager provides assessment, planning, linkage, coordination, monitoring, evaluation and advocacy to the child, family, foster family and primary caregiver. The Case Manager works as a team member with a therapist, foster parents, primary caregiver, guardian ad litem and other appropriate professionals. The Case Manager will develop, strengthen and maintain a direct working relationship with mental health professionals, community agencies and the child’s own support system

STARTING SALARY: $32,000.00

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in the area of psychology, social work, or other related human service field required

  • Must be eligible for child welfare certification within one year of employment. Must complete the required minimum continuing education/training per CFC policy for continued certification

  • Must have appropriate and valid state driver’s license. Must meet state criminal background check requirements.

Preferred:

  • Background in trauma informed care.

  • One year experience working with children who have family, educational, or emotional disturbance issues preferred.

Records Specialist

 

Responsible to create and maintain client case files that are documentary evidence of the care provided to children served by CFC. Responsible for management of the active and inactive child/family case files that are documentary evidence of the care provided to children served by CFC which includes child/family case file creation, filing, retrieval, accessioning, retention, release of records and disposition in accordance with the Department of Children & Families and CFC regulations, requirements, and policies.
